All routes are flat, fast and fun. You’ll be riding through the beautiful Pocomoke Forest and surrounding countryside on lightly traveled rural roads. All routes begin and end at Furnace Town.

Not only is the Iron Furnace Fifty perfect for all ages and abilities, but all proceeds benefit Furnace Town Historic Site and the Snow Hill Rotary Club! It's a great way to get off the beaten path, breathe lots of fresh air, and have fun while supporting two local organizations!

Join Shawn for a guided hike through the Nassawango Creek Preserve, where you'll explore the world of fungi and learn the basics of mushroom hunting and identification. After the hike, Shawn will share insights from his research on the area's rich mycodiversity, which he has been studying for several years under Dr. Wilkins at Salisbury University.

Please note, this is an educational hike, not a foraging expedition.

Reconnect with nature and find your flow with Yoga in the Forest, led by Zoe Michele. Breathe in the fresh air, move with intention, and enjoy a peaceful hour of guided yoga surrounded by the beauty of the woods.

Beginner to expert, all are welcome. Just grab your mat and join us for a grounding and rejuvenating practice in the heart of nature!

Monthly Meeting of the Blacksmith Guild at Furnace Town.

First meeting is free - continued involvement requires guild membership ($55/year)

Participants must be 18+
(15+ with a parent remaining at the forge for the duration)

For safety reasons, participants must wear long pants, close-toed shoes (boots preferable), and all clothing made of natural fibers.
